Some people might think that expensive things or lavish holidays make the best gifts. I couldn't disagree more. The best gift is seeing your work paying off and, in my case, seeing my lavender flowers in bloom for the first time.
As I told you before, when I started growing lavender I decided on the spot that I wasn't going to use any herbicides to control the weeds, or artificial fertilizers to give plants a boost. But, I didn't know all that much about organic farming so I started looking around the might all web for resources.
During the first months of growing lavender, I had to learn two big lessons to be able to recover from setback and understand that things take time to develop. Starting this lavender farm will require more than just learning about horticulture and plants. It's a continuous journey, where the most valuable lessons involve personal growth.
