Journal #3: Things Are Looking Up & the First Flowers Buds

After two months of stressing out about my lavender plants not developing, I finally got good news. It's mid May and I'm seeing flower buds on my plants. These lavender plants are actually going to bloom this summer.

I just got back from my monthly maintenance trip to my small lavender crop. And it's been amazing. Even removing the weeds didn't seem like such an ordeal this time, because now I know I'm on track.

There are still some plants that aren't doing all that well, but I'm happy with what I saw over the weekend. Yes, being patient is well worth it.

Now I'm more excited than ever to return the next time and see the first blooms in my own lavender field.
