In 2017, we visited 4 countries, walked thousands of kilometres, swam hundreds of miles and as 2018 begins, I can’t wait to start all over. 2017 brought us a lot of joy and unforgettable moments, and I would need several books to talk about all of our travels and adventures. My Birthday in the Mountains: Hiking Trail from Diham Chalet to Malaiesti

Last year, for my birthday we inaugurated a new tradition. Instead of spending the day in the city, planning a party and going through all that jazz, we decided to spend the day traveling. The first journey we chose for this new tradition was a hike, between Diham Chalet to Malaiesti Valley, in Bucegi Mountains. It turned out to be a great idea and we actually discovered such a beautiful place, it felt like we arrived in heaven.

We started our hike right outside the village of Greci, on a common trail with the hike towards Tutuiatu Mountain. It all starts in one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The light is always perfect for gorgeous photos, the sights are so pure and natural, it’s a deeply mesmerizing experience.

I have always been fascinated with lighthouses. There's something so romantic about them and the one at Cape Melagkavi offers an unforgettable sight. Together with the temple and the lake at Limni Vouliagmenis, you can make a day of it and you will not regret it. On your way there, you can also stop at Loutraki for a bite to eat and shopping.

I fell in love with Italy about 4 years ago. The food, the people, the sights, the history, nature and the art, everything was amazing and I kept going back every year.
